Hockey Links

The Seattle Thunderbirds celebrate a 5-4 overtime victory against
the arch-rival Portland Winter Hawks on March 16, 2002.

Here is a list of some of my favorite hockey links.

Seattle Thunderbirds – The official web site of the Seattle Thunderbirds

Seattle Thunderbirds Blog – A great blog by a local Thunderbirds fan!

Western Hockey Legends – A site dedicated to the PCHA and hockey on the West Coast in the early 1900’s.

Internet Hockey Database – Slater’s Internet Hockey Database. You want stats? Oh, he’s got stats!

Hockey Hall of Fame – The official web site of the National Hockey League Hall of Fame

WHL Web Site – Frank Liebmann’s unofficial web site of the old WHL

University of Washington Hockey Team – University of Washington hockey team home page. My alma mater – class of ’93!

Norwich University Hockey Team – The Norwich University Cadets are in the NCAA Division III.  My current graduate school.

Western Hockey League – The official web site of the current WHL

Yahoo! Hockey History Board – Bulletin board for discussion of hockey history

Portland Buckaroos Home Page – The history of the Porland Buckaroos, arch-rivals of the Totems

Here are some of my other favorite sites:

Monty Sheldon Artballs – Monty is a great sports artist, and he paints both baseballs and hockey pucks.

Historylink.org – OK, so it’s not specifically hockey.  However, it is a great history of King County (where Seattle is located).  Make sure to check out the baseball/Seattle Rainiers sections put together by my buddy and site contributor Dave Eskenazi.  His collection of Seattle baseball and hockey stuff is second to none!

Gasoline Alley Antiques – If you want to buy Seattle hockey stuff (or other hockey stuff, baseball stuff, toys…) this is the place to go!

Washington State Sports Collectors Association – Your source for information on collecting sports memorabilia in the state of Washington.  Check out their links page!

Did I miss something?  Let me know!
