Welcome to the Seattle Hockey Homepage - the most complete history of hockey in Seattle on the web!
This site is dedicated to the 1,000+ men who have worn the Seattle uniform with pride over the past 90+ years and
to the fans who supported them.  I've put together team histories, statistics, and lots of photos of players, teams, arenas,
and some cool memorabilia.

Wow!  It's bee a long time since I updated the site... almost an entire year!

The KENT HISTORICAL MUSEUM in Kent, Washington, is currently exhibiting a display of Seattle hockey memorabilia, include
items from my own collection.  The exhibit is scheduled to run until around mid-April.  Check it out!

Emerald Ice - Hockey in Seattle from 1915 to 1975

While my first book, Hockey in Seattle, was primarily a history of the game in photos, Emerald Ice is a chronological history of hockey in the Emerald City.
It includes season-by-season summaries with all the great stories, plus a detailed history of the attempts to bring an NHL team to Seattle.  There are also
appendices that provide season standings for every season from 1915 to 1975, along with stats on every single player who suited up in a Seattle uniform during
that period - both their complete season-by-season stats in Seattle as well as career totals for time they spent in the highest level professional leagues like
the NHA, NHL and WHA.  

The book is 284 pages in length and is self-published.  The first printing is limited to 100 individually numbered and signed copies, and the wire spiral binding
makes it easy to read.  Emerald Ice won't be in the bookstores, so make sure to drop me an email if you'd like to order a copy.  The cost is $28, which includes

in Seattle - 128 pages, 177 pictures and over 35,000 words of text about the history of the game in the
